How to Check in / Login 

Press the arrow up key

Place your finger at the scanner and wait for the device to respond

The device will say “Thank you” if your fingerprint is verified a large green check  ü icon will also show up on the screen

 The device will say “Please try again” if your fingerprint is not recognized and a large red X icon will show up on the screen.

How to Check out / Logout 

Press the arrow down key

Place your finger at the scanner and wait for the device to respond

The device will say “Thank you” if your fingerprint is verified a large green check  ü icon will also show up on the screen

The device will say “Please try again” if your fingerprint is not recognized and a large red X icon will show up on the screen.

When to perform login and logout?

Logging in and out will depend on the schedule given to you.

If your schedule is from 7:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 6:00pm you are required to login and logout 4 times

You need to login (1) when you arrived at 7:00am then logout (2) on lunch break at 12:00pm (3) then login again after the lunch break at 1:00pm (4) then finally logout before you leave at 6:00pm

Is there an interval between login and logout?

Yes, on lunch break after you logged out you need to wait for at least 1 minute to login again duplicate entries will not be honored by the system.

Some precautions have to be taken to get a good read every time

Make sure the center point of your finger is placed in the middle of the scanner for a good read. 

Recommended to use index finger

The terminal accepts other fingers, but index is the most convenient. · Make sure the finger is not wet, too dry, injured or dirty

Do not press hard on the sensor, just place it comfortably

Avoid direct sunlight or bright light
